Parent's Information
Suncream and Sun Hats in warm weather.
In the Summer Term, can I please remind all parents that with the warm weather it is so important to apply Suncream before they arrive at Pre-school and that your child has a Sunhat to wear.
We spend a lot of time out in the garden and it is so important that children are protected during the warmer months.
Stay and Play Sessions

We will do Stay and Play sessions termly, so please check our website and our main door for information.
Packed Lunches
If your child is with us all day and staying for lunch please can you send them in with a Healthy Lunchbox, this should not contain Chocolate or Nuts please or Foods containing Nuts as we are a Nut-Free Pre-school.
Please make. sure that your child's Lunchbox has a Ice pack in it to keep your child's lunch cool.

Snack
Parent's please can I remind you that your child needs to bring in a healthy snack for Pre-school this can be a piece of fruit/crackers and cheese/raisins.
We are a Healthy eating Pre-school, so please do not give your child cakes and sweet biscuits.
If your child is in a full day, you will need to provide 2 pieces of snack.
Lending Library
At 100 Acrewood Pre-school we have set up a Lending Library.

We know how important it is for children to look at books and have them read to them and promote the love of reading and listening to a story.
The book folders will be outside the hall daily and you and your child can choose a book and take it home for a week and then bring it back and choose another one.
Please check with the staff on the door as the book will need to be signed for.
Autumn Term Winter clothing
During the Autumn term please can I remind parents with the colder months approaching please can you provide your child with a warm coat and scarves and hats and gloves when it gets cold and make sure that their coats are waterproof as we do go out in our garden during the winter months.
